I’m a digital illustrator for books and print publications, creating images that range from the naturalistic to the fantastical. I illustrate all of my own books and created the front cover for Enchanted Creatures.

'Enchanted Creatures' 2024
A selection of the images for my latest book on monsters and the imagination. Each chapter was about a different kind of monster, set in a different time period, so I wanted the frontispieces to embody this variety.
The front cover of the book is a playful take on the intricate designs of turn-of-century story books and natural histories, entwining the different characters that appear throughout the book. The design fed into some beautiful tiled endpapers that I created for the hardback.
'Planta Sapiens' 2022
My illustrations for Planta Sapiens expressed some abstract scientific ideas in a naturalistic style, while communicating the beauty and wonder of the subject matter.
